2. Use of This Website
This website is provided for general information and booking purposes only. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all content will always be current, complete, or error-free.
We reserve the right to amend or remove website content at any time without notice.
3. Services
All services are subject to availability. Treatment descriptions, timings, and images shown on this website are provided as guidance only. Results may vary between individuals.
Certain treatments may require a consultation and/or patch test prior to booking. We reserve the right to refuse, amend, or discontinue a service if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
4. Bookings & Appointments
Appointments can be booked online, in person, or via approved booking platforms. An appointment is only confirmed once accepted by the salon or individual service provider.
Clients are responsible for ensuring all booking information is accurate and complete. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation at the discretion of the service provider, with full charges still applying.
5. Deposits, Payments & Pricing
Deposits are required for some of our services, including but not limited to wedding bookings, group masterclasses, and teen or pre-teen parties.
For hair extension services, the full cost of the hair is required upfront prior to the appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Full payment for services is due on completion of the appointment.
Prices listed are subject to change and may vary depending on factors such as length, thickness, time required, or specialist work. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
6. Cancellations & No-Shows
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or in the event of a no-show, a charge of 50% of the full appointment value will apply. Any deposit already paid will be deducted from this amount.
Failure to pay outstanding cancellation or no-show charges may result in refusal of future bookings.
7. Patch Tests & Client Responsibility
Patch tests are required for certain treatments. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant information prior to treatment, including but not limited to allergies, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, or previous reactions.
We cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed.
8. Results, Aftercare & Liability
All treatments are carried out professionally and with due care; however, results cannot be guaranteed and will vary between individuals.
Clients must follow all aftercare advice provided. We accept no liability for issues arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, unrealistic expectations, or factors outside our control.
9. Self-Employed Professionals
The Hair & Makeup Project operates as a shared salon space. Some services provided within the salon are carried out by self-employed professionals.
Where this applies, the contract for services is between the client and the individual service provider. Each self-employed professional is responsible for their own insurance, qualifications, services, and conduct.
The Hair & Makeup Project is not liable for services provided independently by self-employed professionals.
10. Gift Vouchers & Promotions
Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be redeemed before their expiry date. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and lost vouchers cannot be replaced.
Promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time.
